INDIVIDUAL SUPPORT
Yoga therapy combines the traditional practice of yoga with insights from modern medicine and psychology to promote holistic health and wellbeing. It is a form of health education and builds a bridge between medical treatment and everyday life.
With the help of asana (postures), pranayama (breathing exercises), mudras and bandhas (energetic seals), meditation and mantra, you learn to strengthen your inner resources. This is complemented by nervous system regulation and adjustments to nutrition and lifestyle. The focus is on your own practice and on fostering self-efficacy.
Yoga therapy follows the traditional way of learning yoga: one-to-one and without fixed sequences or methods.
Would you like to take your health into your own hands? Are you looking for support that sees you as a whole person?
Here you will find a holistic approach that can help you understand what lies behind your complaints. Yoga therapy supports you in dealing with physical and emotional complaints, for example:
Yoga therapy does not treat or diagnose illnesses. It is a complementary support alongside medical treatment and does not replace it.
The focus of my work is on spiritual crises and kundalini processes, and it is aimed at people who want to develop spiritually. Even if that is not your topic, or your complaints are not listed, you are welcome to get in touch. The foundations of the work apply to everyone.
Each session consists of conversation and practice. Together we develop a practice program tailored to your needs and constitution, and at the end of each session you receive a recorded practice to use at home. Your situation determines which practices we use. We begin with what helps you most in everyday life and adapt the practice step by step.
A longer period of at least five sessions is recommended, so that your home practice can stabilize and be adjusted. We set the intervals between sessions individually, according to you.
No prior yoga experience is needed. Yoga therapy is suitable for all levels.

Many modern illnesses are rooted in the way we live: chronic stress, poor sleep, unhealthy diet, lack of movement, or a sense of meaninglessness. Yoga therapy starts right at this level. It fosters lasting changes in everyday life and teaches practices that strengthen resilience and inner peace.
Health is not merely the absence of symptoms but wholeness: a life in harmony with ourselves and aligned with our personal sense of purpose.
Yoga philosophy describes the human being through the model of the five koshas, or “sheaths.” They range from the physical body to the subtlest dimensions of consciousness, and they are interconnected. Complaints often develop from subtle imbalances into physical symptoms and are rooted in all of our “sheaths.” The body is therefore a gateway for working with the mind, and vice versa. We work with what is most tangible for you and, where needed, move inward step by step. The deepest changes happen in the subtlest layers; this requires readiness and a stable foundation. Health is not the ultimate goal of yoga therapy but its foundation. Its true purpose is to clear the obstacles on the path to samadhi, spiritual freedom. These obstacles, which show up as physical and emotional suffering, arise from false perception and identification with our thought patterns, which are fed by our automatic and reactive behavior. When we are caught in suffering, it is hard to let go and rest in stillness. We need to start from where we are and for many of us the preliminary step is to restore health.
In this sense, yoga therapy is kriya yoga according to Patanjali: with the help of tapas (disciplined practice), svadhyaya (reflection and self-inquiry) and ishvara pranidhana (surrender to something greater), we reduce the power these patterns hold over us and experience more clarity and inner freedom.
I do not provide instructions for willfully awakening Kundalini, as the value and safety of such practices are debatable. The purpose of this site is solely to raise awareness of Kundalini and related processes, and to support individuals in harmonizing and regulating an already active or misdirected process.
